Updated | By Neo Motloung
The great-grandchildren of the
late struggle icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela have paid tribute to their beloved
'big mommy’, as she was affectionately known in the family.
One-by-one, Madikizela-Mandela's great-grandchildren spoke about the love they received from her.
They spoke at Madikizela-Mandela’s official memorial service at Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
"Big mommy was the kindest, happiest, a most inspiring fashional person I knew. Big mommy, I will always miss you and love you so much, whether you are in heaven or on earth. Without you our lives would have been incomplete," said one of the great-grandchildren.
