From a young township girl to one of the most influential South Africans ever - Liesl Laurie is a true inspiration!
She is beautiful, clever, and real. Yes, Liesl Laurie is a household name all around the country.
In 2015, Liesl was crowned Miss South Africa and she was one of the Top 10 finalists at Miss World. This saw her become the Continental Queen of Africa, for being the contestant who placed the highest of all the African contestants.
Today, she is a radio presenter, model, motivational speaker, and brand ambassador.
However, things were not always easy for this beauty queen.
Growing up in Eldorado Park, Laurie was exposed to a negative environment - but with her mother and grandmother protecting her - Liesl knew that her future was bright.
After earning her title as Miss SA - Liesl not only changed her life, but also influenced and changed the lives of many young girls and women in South Africa.
Liesl is a true inspiration to South Africa and again she decided to share her story with everyone.
