VIDEO: SA shocked by hijacking at local petrol station

Disturbing video footage of criminals stealing a man’s car at a local petrol station has left social media users in shock.

The video starts with the unknowing victim standing at a payment window outside a petrol station when two men walk up behind him. 

Within seconds, things take a turn for the worse when the men pull out guns, intimidating the victim and what looks like a petrol station employee.

The robbers proceed to pull the man by his arm, but the man refuses by not moving forward, to which the robber reacts by hitting the victim over the head. 

At this point, the victim falls to the ground to sit while the men search him for items to take and presumably his car keys. 

The helpless victim repeatedly gestures to his blue BMW standing behind him, and moments later, both men climb into the car and spin off. 

According to the post, the incident occurred in Montclair, Durban, on Tuesday, 20 February 2024.
