You can now book a lie-flat economy seat with Lufthansa
Updated | By Breakfast with Martin Bester
The new Economy Class experience is here with a comfortable ‘Sleeper’s Row’.
Have you ever flown Economy Class and wished you could lie down and rest during the flight? Now it is possible!
Lufthansa is the largest German airline and is seeking to offer innovative solutions to increase passengers’ comfort.
The new product will be available on the Frankfurt-São Paulo route (LH 506/507 flights) and it will only be available for a trial period.

Passengers flying in Economy Class now have the option of booking an adjacent row of seats - from 3 to 4 seats – to lie down comfortably and have a good night’s sleep while flying.
Passengers who book the offer will also be entitled to priority boarding and will receive a blanket and a pillow, matching Business Class standards.
During the trial period, the Sleeper’s Row must be purchased at the airport, during check-in or at the boarding gate.
