Does hiding text messages from your partner count as cheating?
Sending a flirtatious text message to someone who is not your partner is a recipe for disaster, but is it cheating?
Megan Thee Stallion, one of the most beautiful women in the world, opened up about a cheating partner in a song recently.
The rapper released 'Cobra' following her break-up from Pardison 'Pardi' Fontaine.
“Pulled up, caught him cheatin’... in the same spot I’m sleepin’,” she rapped on the track. Many people, including Pardi, assumed the song was about him.
However, in a new interview on 'Lip Service', Pardi accused Megan of exaggerating, implying that he was just texting other women.
Podcast hosts, Angela Yee, Stephanie Santiago, and Gigi Maguire, asked him directly if he cheated on Megan in her bed.
He denied getting intimate with anyone else while he was in a relationship.
"What's cheating? Is hiding text messages from your partner cheating? If it's something that you gotta hide from your partner, is it cheating?" he asked.
His question was an answer in itself but Pardi seemed unconvinced that it counted as cheating.
Gigi told him that she considered texting other women cheating.
"Anything that you are doing that you would not do in front of your significant other, I feel like that is a form of cheating... whether it's emotionally, physically, intellectually... then yes that's cheating," she said.
Pardi accepted her reasoning, saying in that case his "inappropriate" texts could be seen as cheating. However, he maintained that Megan exaggerated his alleged infidelities in her song.

Several people shared their views on the matter. "As a man let me tell you if a dude says 'define cheating' he did that," one Instagram wrote.
Another user commented: "The minute he said 'what’s cheating', I knew everything he said after that was a damn lie. Dudes are disappointments on every day that ends in 'y'."
One man noted that there are different tiers to cheating and people cannot compare texting to having a physical affair with someone.
Pardi's interview comes a few weeks after he released a diss track in response to Megan Thee Stallion's 'Cobra' song.
While Megan did not mention his name in her song, Pardi called his reaction track, 'THEE PERSON'.
He rapped:
