Lemon hack to get your oven looking nice and clean
Here is a hack that will leave your oven looking clean and smelling fresh!
Lemons are not only nutritious, but they can be used for cleaning.
They contain citric acid which can kill bacteria. They also have an antiseptic compound.
Not only that, but the acid can remove mould and mildew.
All these things can make their way into your oven if it is not thoroughly cleaned.
A dirty oven can affect the way your food tastes.
It will also release carbon-based fumes or bad smoke.
The bad smoke contains Sulphur dioxide, nitrogen oxide, and carbon monoxide - which are health hazards.
So, if you are looking for a way to clean your oven using lemons, here is an amazing hack:
Put chopped lemons in an oven suitable dish with the skin on.
Pour water into the dish.
Heat up in the oven for 30 minutes at 120 degrees Celsius.
Leave the lemons in the oven to steam.
Wipe clean with a clean cloth dipped in the lemon water.
And that's it - you will have a new oven all over again!
