Taylor Swift is building up the hype for '1989 (Taylor’s Version)'.

She shared the 21 tracks that will feature on the album on Thursday, much to the excitement of her fans.

"It’s a new soundtrack. Here are the back covers and vault track titles for 1989 (my version)', she wrote on X.

Swift said she can't wait for her fans to get hold of the new version of the album, which was originally released in 2014 by Big Machine Records.

"I can’t wait for this one to be out, seriously. Thank you for playing along, sleuthing, puzzling and making these reveals so much chaotic fun (which is the best kind of fun, after all," she wrote.

Elon Musk, owner of the social media platform X, was amongst the first to comment.

Like a real businessman, the billionaire urged Taylor to use his platform to promote her music.

“I recommend posting some music or concert videos directly on the X platform,” he commented on the post.

Some of Taylor's fans were not impressed with the comment.

"Elon Musk acting like there is anything Twitter can do for TAYLOR SWIFT re: exposure and reach that she isn’t already doing on her own is inadvertently the first genuinely hilarious thing he’s ever done," wrote user Kendall Brown.

Taylor's album comes out next week on September 27. She has described it as her favourite re-release.

"The 1989 album changed my life in countless ways, and it fills me with such excitement to announce that my version of it will be out October 27th. To be perfectly honest, this is my most FAVORITE re-record I’ve ever done because the 5 From The Vault tracks are so insane. I can’t believe they were ever left behind," Taylor wrote on Instagram.
