ANC reacts to DA lead in Western Cape
Updated | By Heart FM
The ANC in the Western Cape says it's disappointed by its massive loss so far in this year's municipal elections.

The DA is leading with 63.57 percent of the total vote in the Cape, while the ANC's trailing with just more than 25,5 percent with 78 percent of the votes counted.
The DA is all but set to take over some ANC strongholds like the Cape Agulhas and Cederberg municipalities.
The ANC's provincial secretary, Faiez Jacobs, believes it is back to the drawing board for the party, and its officials.
I think for me there is a lot of lessons for us to learn in this process and as the ANC we will study this and do a comprehensive assessment. Assess everything that went wrong. What worked, what didn't work, what were the challenges, what were the issues and then look at how we can learn from this and build the party and build a better ANC for the Western Cape," Jacobs said.
