Adele has been on a drinking break, but the singer says she is now ready to drink again...
In October, Adele announced that she was quitting alcohol after revealing that she was "literally borderline alcoholic" in her 20s.
But it seems the superstar has had a long enough break.
The 35-year-old said she took a break from alcohol for about three months, but she now misses alcohol and is ready to resume drinking.
Adele was speaking at her Las Vegas residency, according to a report by Daily Mail on November 8.
“I’m just going to chill. I’m annoyed as well that I’m sick because this is red wine weather,” Adele said.
“I stopped drinking, but obviously now I’m ready to start again because it is my break,” she added.
Previously, Adele announced that she had been on a break for three months.
“I stopped drinking quite a long time ago… I stopped drinking, when did I stop drinking? It feels like forever. Maybe like three-and-a-half months ago,” Adele said.
However, she said that she misses alcohol.
“It’s boring. I mean, oh my God, it’s boring. I was literally borderline alcoholic for quite a lot of my 20s, but I miss it so much. I cut out caffeine, so enjoy your whiskey sour. I’m very, very jealous," she said.

The 'Hello' hitmaker says wine affects her voice.
“I can’t drink red wine ever when I’m singing because I don’t know about you, but red wine f—s me up. I cannot handle it,” the singer said.
“A glass of red wine tips me over the edge. I have the worst hangover, my whole mouth and tongue turns red. I look like a disaster and it just gets rid of my voice.”
Adele previously made headlines after her drinking got out of hand when she was at a bar.
According to Daily Mail, in February 2020, Adele got drunk at a gay bar in London and stripped down to her bra. She even pole-danced on stage.
She had previously also revealed that she would drink four bottles of wine in the morning.
"I remember when I came here in COVID, in lockdown, it was 11am and I was definitely like four bottles of wine in — like we all were. I said in 2020 that I wanted to put my album out. And we were all at home just drunk basically," the Daily Star quoted her as saying during a March 2023 show.
Adele also opened up about her battle with alcohol in 2021.
“I’ve always had a very close relationship with alcohol. I was always very fascinated by alcohol. It’s what kept my dad from me. So I always wanted to know what was so great about it,” she told Vogue magazine in a 2021 interview.
