Binnelanders star, Hykie Berg confirms split: 'We got divorced a few months ago'
The Binnelanders star has confirmed the news of his divorce from wife, Melissa Jacobs.
Hykie Berg shared the news in an emotional Facebook post, stating that it was time for him to share the news with his fans.

Berg currently portrays the role of Dr. Conrad Bester in the kykNET-soap, Binnelanders.
"Friends and fans, it is time to share this with you. Melissa and I decided to keep it quiet for a while because it is private. But it is just fair that this comes direct from me and the time has come for me to share the news," Berg wrote on Facebook.
Some of you might be shocked, others might not even care, there might even be a few who understands and others will crucify us for this. Whatever the case, there has been rumours that Melissa and I separated... These are true.
The actor confirmed that the two got divorced a few months ago. Adding that the reasons behind it was irrelevant now, "we are also not going to speak to the media about this in depth," Berg wrote.
Hykie and Melissa got married in 2013 and he won Survivor in 2011.

According to Hykie, both of them went through a difficult time and they are respecting each others privacy; "we appreciate everyone's prayers. Thanks to friends, fans and family for your constant support, love and prayers."
Hykie's fans shared message of support on his Facebook post and wished both him and Melissa well.
