Top South African DJ Black Coffee will be taking up a residency on the party island of Ibiza - and it is a pretty big deal.

According to a post on his instagram account, Black Coffee will be playing at the Hï Ibiza nightclub from June until September.
"Ladies and Gentlemen! I'm proud to officially announce my Ibiza residency debut at Hï Ibiza. Every Saturday from June till September. Ibiza Summers will never be the same!! Info & ticket link in my bio," he posted.
Black Coffee, whose real name is Nkosinathi Maphumulo, began his career around 1995 and has released five albums and a live DVD under his record label, Soulistic Music.
He is arguably the most prominent electronic music producer in Africa and his big break came after he was chosen as a participant in the 2004 Red Bull Music Academy held in Cape Town.
In September 2015, he won the "Breakthrough DJ Of The Year" award at the DJ Awards in Ibiza, a few weeks after the release of his fifth studio album, Pieces Of Me.
