Khloé Kardashian opens up about childhood struggles
Updated | By MornéJK
Khloé Kardashian admits she struggled growing up in the shadows of her older sisters, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian.
The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star says she was always being compared to her elder siblings, Kim Kardashian West, 35 and Kourtney Kardashian, 37, when she was at school.
She explained: "While I loved having my built-in group with Kim and Kourtney, it was hard for me at times. They may have already graduated when I got to school, but I remember that teachers would always exclaim, 'You're THEIR sister?' I didn't have my own identity and was compared to them."
And it was also schooling that caused the 31-year-old television personality issues growing up, so much so that she signed herself up to Alexandria Academy by forging her parent's signatures.
Writing on her official website, she added: "I went to Marymount [High School] in ninth grade, while Kourt and Kim were there, but after they left, I felt like I had no one to be with. I struggled really hard in school, so I took myself out of Marymount and forged my parents' names to enroll in Alexandria Academy. My dad was livid when he found out, and I was so scared, I was shaking.
"Alexandria Academy is not at-home, you go to a school, and there are tutors that give you individual attention. I needed that. I really did not know one person there. I knew college wasn't for me, and I graduated from Alexandria with honours - which I never would've done in a traditional school."
Meanwhile, Khloé previously revealed she never thought of herself as "the fat sister".
She said: "It's so funny because I didn't think I was that sister. I didn't think I was the fat sister until people would call me that. And I was like, 'Am I?' Like I just didn't really think of myself as being fat.
"Looking back now I realised I was unhealthy but I wasn't ... I think we all know what fat is, I don't think I was fat, I think I was unhealthy."
