South African actress bags Emmy nomination

A South African actress has received international recognition.
Actress Thuso Mbedu has been nominated for in the 2017 International Emmy Awards for her role in the local drama, Is'thunzi.
Mbedu has been nominated in the 'Best Performance by an Actress' category.
She has been nominated alongside other actresses from Brazil, the United Kingdom and Germany.
An elated Mbedu has taken to Twitter to express her excitement and gratitude.
