You Spec 2016: Fashion hits and misses
The annual You Spectacular Awards took place at Emperor's Palace on Saturday and while our celebrities got all glammed up, some completely lost their fashion sense.
The You Spectacular is known as one of the social events of the year and celebrities took advantage of some of South Africa's top designers.
We absolutely love Minnie's choice of dress, whilst most of the ladies opted for long gowns, the Durban beauty chose a short sexy number embroiled with some detailed gold material.
The 25-year-old media personality also walked away with the 2016 Most Sexiest Woman award. Congratulations lady, your outfit confirmed exactly why you deserved to win that category.

TV personality, Boity Thulo who is known for her daring fashion nailed her red carpet look in this goldish Queteria and George gown.
Bonang Matheba always has the support of one of South Africa's best designers, Gert-Johan Coetzee and again slayed in this white and gold number.
Former Miss, SA Melinda Bam also had heads turning in a white Anel Botha Couture gown.

Her JJ Schoeman creation bordered a matric farewell dress while the fabric didn't do much for her, either.

Mr South Africa 2013/2014 and his wife tried their best to make heads turn on the red carpet, but unfortunately for the wrong reasons.
The couple didn't come near the glam that was present at the You Spectacular.
Idols judge and socialite, Somizi Mhlong did not disappoint with his creative and always flamboyant fashion sense.
