Marking of exam papers will begin on Thursday, 1 December 2016, with results expected to be released on 4 January 2017.
With the exam period officially coming to an end, the task of marking will begin with about 47 400 markers at 140 marking centres around the country who will undertake to mark 11 million examination scripts.
