Absa customers hit by widespread bank outage

Absa has confirmed that it experienced a "technical issue" on Tuesday.
Scores of customers took to social media to vent their frustration about the bank being offline.
Many complained of Absa ATMs which were out of operation as well as being unable to access the online banking app or swipe their banking cards.
Hi Absa I have tried the online banking app and it is still down? Card payments are not working either ?? please advise

Absa has since tweeted that the problem has been resolved.

However, some insist they are still experiencing challenges accessing the bank's services.
@Absa can you please advise why your online banking app is down? Card payments do not work either. You tweeted that systems have been restored but I know of a number of people still experiencing problems?

@Absa .... You keep saying your system is restored...but I'm still getting unsuccessful notifications when I attempt to use it. 3rd time now.
