ActionSA: Cele, Dlodlo were sleeping on the job and must be fired
Updated | By Karabo Tebele
ActionSA has added its voice to those calling on President Cyril Ramaphosa to axe Police Minister Bheki Cele and State Security Minister Ayanda Dlodlo.

Party leader Herman Mashaba held a briefing on Tuesday morning.
The party’s call comes amid the spat between the two ministers over the supply of intelligence reports ahead of the recent unrest in Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
Cele told Parliament’s police committee that he did not receive intelligence warnings from State Security ahead of the violence and looting in the two provinces, a charge Dlodlo has strenuously denied.
ActionSA said it remains convinced that the unrests was aimed at removing Ramaphosa from office.
ActionSA KwaZulu-Natal chairperson Makhosi Khoza said Cele and Dlodlo were caught sleeping on the job.
"As ActionSA, we are demanding the president fires the ministers of the security cluster and not recycle them because that has been the tendency.
"They have failed to locate the voices within their own organisation, African National Congress, that were circulated during our darkest times.
"They have been unable to arrest their own comrades that were involved in this and needless to say that some of their utterances are left much desired."
The deployment of South African National Defence Force (SANDF) troops has since restored normality to looting-ridden areas of Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal.
