All eyes on Vuwani to see if schools reopen

Schools in the Vuwani area in Limpopo are expected to reopen on Thursday following an agreement reached by the authorities and community leaders last month.

More than 20 schools were torched and vandalised during destructive protests in June.

Resident committed to a total shutdown in the area in protest against the Municipal Demarcation Board's decision to incorporate them, along with Malamulele, in a new stand-alone municipality.
