ANALYST: Zuma's time is nearly up
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Political analyst Karima Brown believes it is only a matter of time before President Jacob Zuma is forced to step down.
"President Zuma is not surviving, he is desperately trying to hold on to power. It flips every single day," says Brown.
Reports emerged yesterday that African National Congress (ANC) National Executive Committee (NEC) member Joel Netshitenzhe raised a motion of no confidence against the President.
The ANC's NEC is meeting in Irene outside Pretoria this weekend.
Brown says Zuma will have difficult time convincing the ANC to keep him on as President, amid growing unhappiness over his leadership in the ANC, as well as society in general.
