ANC NEC 'recalls' President Jacob Zuma

The African National Congress ((ANC) is briefing on the
outcomes of an urgent National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting which was held
in Irene on Monday.
The NEC meeting was called to discuss and finalise President Jacob Zuma's future as head of state.
President Zuma has been under pressure to resign after the election of Cyril Ramaphosa as ANC president at the party's national conference in December.
It is widely reported that the NEC decided President Zuma must resign as president, but that he refused.
