ANCYL disrupts #OccupyLuthuliHouse briefing
Members of the ANC Youth League on Friday disrupted a press briefing by the #OccupyLuthuliHouse movement in Pretoria.
Leaders of the movement was briefing the media on plans to lead a mass demonstration at the ANC's headquarters on Monday against the party's leadership.
The league said in an earlier statement that they would not allow anyone to occupy Luthuli House, but it was not opposed to anyone protesting.
The ANCYL's Tshwane regional chairperson Lesego Makhubela asked the media to leave the press briefing, saying they could not allow the briefing in their region.
