Another weekend of dry taps in Orange Farm
Residents of Orange Farm in the south of Johannesburg have been warned to brace themselves for yet another weekend without water.
Taps in the area have been dry for almost two weeks as Johannesburg Water struggles to repair a damaged water pipe.
The utility has blamed the outage on a contractor who tried installing a stormwater pipe in Orange Farm Extension 2.
By Friday morning, there was still no estimated time for restoration.
Joburg Water said it would continue to provide alternative water supply for residents through roaming and stationary tankers.
