ATM bombed in Pretoria
Police have launched a massive manhunt after a group suspect bombed an ATM at a shopping centre in the east of Pretoria.
According to police spokesperson, Mavela Masondo a security guard was shot and wounded during a shootout.
"The incident happened between 3am and 4am on Tuesday. The security guard was shot in the upper body while three vehicles were damages," Masondo told Jacaranda FM News.
Police are not sure how many suspects there were but they fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
"We have intensified police visibility at malls recently," he said.
Police urged anyone with information to come forward and contact the police on the 10111 hotline.
