Beitbridge protest causes 'massive' traffic jam on N1
Limpopo traffic police are monitoring a violent protest on the N1 near the Beitbridge border post.
Motorists making their way to Zimbabwe have been advised to delay their travels as the road is barricaded by residents protesting against the high crime rate in the area.
Limpopo Transport spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene said law enforcement officers have been deployed to the area.
"We are attending to the matter and urge motorists to exercise patience as we attend to this."
Traffic obstruction is on the N1 North towards Beitbridge.
