Bheki Cele involved in car crash
Deputy minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Bheki Cele, has been admitted to a Johannesburg hospital after he was involved in a car crash earlier today.
According to his spokesperson, Nonkululeko Mbatha, Cele was on his way to Johannesburg.
"Deputy Minister, Cele, is currently stable and out of danger," she confirmed to Jacaranda FM News.
The vehicle Cele was travelling in collided with another vehicle on the on the M1 south near the Joe Slovo offramp.
She says the deputy minister is in a stable condition.
"The deputy minister is receiving medical treatment at the moment and will likely be discharged form hospital very soon," she says.
