Body of missing man found in dam at Rocking the Daisies festival

Western Cape police have confirmed that the body of a 21 year-old man has been recovered
from a dam at the popular Rocking the Daisies music festival in Darling.
The young man, believed to be a worker from Zimbabwe, went swimming in the dam at the festival yesterday.
Police cordoned off the area while the festival continued, searching for any sign of the 21-year-old.
According to the South African Police Service's Frederick van Wyk, the identity of the man is not known at this stage.
Meanwhile police have also confirmed that eight people have been arrested at the festival so far.
Five people were arrested for the possession of drugs, and three others for carrying stolen goods.
