Body of newborn found in Centurion
The body of a newborn baby boy was found at the Mooiplaas Landfill in Centurion on Tuesday morning.
ER24 spokesperson Russel Meiring says a security company found the baby, who sustained head injuries.
"On arrival ER24 medics were led deeper into the landfill where they found the baby.

“Medics assessed the baby boy and found that he had sustained a serious head injury and showed no signs of life. Unfortunately, nothing could be done and he was declared dead."
Meiring says police were on the scene for further investigations.
