NKANDLA JUDGEMENT EXPECTED TOMORROW: The Constitutional Court will rule on Thursday in the Nkandla case which has seen President Jacob Zuma make an eleventh hour offer to repay a portion of the state money spent on his private home. The senior registrar's clerk at the Constitutional Court has sent a letter to parties to the case, which pits the Democratic Alliance and the Economic Freedom Fighters, against Zuma, to say the ruling will be handed down at 10am. Political analyst, Prof. Somadoda Fikeni said the implications will be huge for the president.

JOBURG IN A MESS: The strike by some four thousand Pikitup workers entered its fourth week on Wednesday with still no end in sight. A disciplinary process was due to start yesterday and was expected to officially kick off on Wednesday. On Tuesday afternoon Johannesburg mayor, Parks Tau said that nothing could justify the state the city is in. 

EASTER DEATH-TOLL DECREASED: There has been a decline in road fatalities over this Easter period. Transport Minister Dipuo Peters on Tuesday announced a drop of 46% in road deaths during the Easter period. Despite some questions asked about the actual accuracy of the numbers, the department remained confident that strides have been made in addressing the road fatalities. Maryke Vermaak reports.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT STIMULATES ECONOMY: 'No country could achieve economic growth without investing in skills development.' That was the word from Deputy President, Cyril Ramaphosa, during the opening of the Human Resource Development Council summit in Midrand on Tuesday.  Slindelo Masikane reports.

TRUMP'S CAMPAIGN MANAGER ARRESTED: Donald Trump's presidential campaign manager was arrested and charged with battery Tuesday for allegedly grabbing a reporter, in a dramatic new illustration of the tensions surrounding the Republican frontrunner's White House bid. Corey Lewandowski is accused of grabbing reporter Michelle Fields so hard that it left bruises on her arm during a March 8 Trump news conference at a golf club he owns in the Palm Beach County town of Jupiter. "He was arrested this morning and released with a notice to appear," Adam Brown, a Jupiter police spokesman, told AFP, saying Lewandowski was not handcuffed after he turned himself in.

HUGH JACKMAN TO THE RESCUE: Hugh Jackman has played countless famous heroes and characters but apparently he is a real hero. The Hollywood actor was captured on camera saving children from drowning at the beach.
