Four robbers, who stole a car in
Cape Town on Sunday morning, managed to drive straight to Pollsmoor Prison in
an attempt to flee from the police.

Police officers chased down the group of suspects in Tokai after receiving a tip-off about a stolen vehicle in Hout Bay.
Cape Town law enforcement spokesperson Wayne Dyason says instead of escaping the suspects managed to drive straight into the West Lake entrance of the prison.

"Four suspects in the vehicle drove straight into the prison where they were eventually caught and arrested," Dyason says.
