Child's body found near Jukskei River
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
The body of a young child has been found next to the Jukskei River in Buccleuch, Johannesburg.

It has not been confirmed whether this is the body of three-year-old Everlate Chauke, who went missing after she was swept away during a flash flood in Alexandra on 9 November.
The police's Kay Makhubela says construction workers found the body.
"The men who are working in a house were walking along the river when they noticed the body of a child. They then notified the police," says Makhubela.
Makhubela says they have opened in inquest docket.
"We are not yet sure if this child is the same child who was swept away in Alexandra. We opened an inquest docket. We are waiting for the family to come and identify the body."
