Classes disrupted at NWU's Vaal campus
Updated | By JacarandaFM News
There is a heavy police presence at the Vaal campus of the North West University where students are disrupting classes.
Stun grenades have been fired to disperse protesting students, who say they will continue to shut down the campus until their demands are met.
Students are unhappy that only certain members of management went to address them, saying they want the rector.
Refuse bins have been set alight and fire extinguishers set off in classes.
