Ekurhuleni church robbed during service
Police have launched a manhunt for three suspects who
robbed a church in Ivory Park, Ekurhuleni.
Police spokesperson Manydza Ralidzivha says the robbery took place in the early hours of Saturday morning.
He adds the church goers had an overnight service at the God Worshipping church from Friday night.
"Three men entered into the church, they shot in the church and made everyone lie down," says Ralidzivha.
The suspects robbed the congregates of their valuables, including cell phones, a tablet and a laptop.
Police say two cartridges were found on the floor of the church.
No injuries were reported.
