Emergency power interruption at Orlando Switching Substation

City Power has announced an emergency power interruption at the Orlando Switching Substation from 8am to 4pm on Wednesday.
Spokesperson for City Power, Isaac Mangena, says the interruption is necessary to do maintenance work on the power network in order to provide a better service.
"As the supply may be restored at any time, customers are urged to always treat their electricity supply points as live. City Power regrets any inconvenience that may be caused by this interruption."
The planned interruption will affect various areas such as the Alan Manor, Mayfield Park, Comptonville, Naturena, Eldorado Ext. 5,8 &10, Naturena Ext.7,19,20,21 & 25, Industria, PaarlsHoop, Kibler Park, Riverlea, Langlaagte, Riverlea Ext.1,2 &3, Longdale, Southfork and Longdale Ext.2
