Eskom briefed the media at its Megawatt Park headquarters in Johannesburg on Wednesday.

Chairperson and interim CEO Jabu Mabuza said while the power utility has had a successful winter, it cannot guarantee the same during summer.
"It is during winter that some of our winter customers take their own planned outages.”
Its been over 160 days since Eskom last implemented loadshedding.
Despite this, the power utility's financial woes continue to cripple it, with its debt estimated at R450 billion.
