The Portfolio Committee on Public Enterprises has given the
country's law enforcement agencies 30 days to investigate the findings of the
Eskom Inquiry Report.
The report looking into the alleged governance failures and state capture at Eskom, was unanimously adopted with amendments in parliament on Wednesday.
The chairperson of the Eskom Inquiry, Zukiswa Rantho, says law enforcement in the country should investigate everyone implicated in the report.
"We will call them in a few must time, to present that they have found from this report," says Rantho.
Rantho adds the report will also be handed over to the State Capture Commission of Inquiry, currently underway in Parktown in Johannesburg.
"[We are] hoping that this report will lay a foundation on whatever inquest or investigations they are doing, they will be able to make arrests," says Rantho.
