Four killed in separate Joburg shack fires

Emergency services in Johannesburg confirmed the deaths of four people in two separate fires in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Joburg emergency spokesperson Robert Mulaudzi said the first blaze was reported in Orange Farm, while a second fire broke out at Matholesville.
"The first fire incident was reported in Orange Farm around 1am this morning were an adult male lost his life when his backroom shack caught fire.
"In another shack fire incident reported around 3am this morning in Matholesville, a family of three which included two adults and one child lost their lives when their five bedroom shack caught fire," said Mulaudzi.
He says no other injuries were reported in both incidents.
"The cause of the fire incidents still a subject of investigations," he added.
