Updated | By MornéJK
After a three week long strike in the petroleum sector representatives of the union CEPPWAWU will meet the employer at the CCMA on Wednesday afternoon.
According to CEPPWAWU's Clement Chitja a new commissioners proposal is expected to be tabled while fuel pumps have sporadically run dry in especially Gauteng.
Chitja added that the are not willing to budge - a multi-year agreement.
"Our mandates vary and we will see if a deal is brokered today. Members have made it clear that they won't settle for a two year agreement," Chitja told Jacaranda FM News.
He added that they are hoping the employer will table a different offer while the strike continues in some areas.
