Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
Zimbabwe's first lady Grace Mugabe will make her first court appearance in South Africa today.

Police minister Fikile Mbalula has confirmed to JacarandaFM News that Mugabe is set to appear in the Wynberg Magistrate's Court after she allegedly assaulted a Johannesburg woman.
It is alleged the Zimbabwean first lady attacked the woman at a Sandton hotel on Sunday night.
The 20-year-old is believed to have sustained injuries to her face.
Pictures on social media appear to show the 20-year-old with a bleeding wound.

The Department of International Relations has blatantly refused to confirm whether Mugabe is in South Africa with her diplomatic passport.
The department has reportedly said Mugabe's trip was "a private visit so government cannot get involved if an alleged crime is committed."
Gauteng community safety MEC Sizakele Nkosi-Malobane has told JacarandaFM News that the case should be pursued through the courts.
"We hope justice will be done and that it will send a strong message to all leaders who think they can abuse their power and assault innocent people in our country," she said.
