Hennops Pride body identified

The body of a woman found at Hennops Pride, near the R55 in Erasmia on September 13, has been identified as the body of 26-year old Elchennette Rademeyer.

Police spokesperson Constable Tumisang Moloto said the family of the deceased came forward after a frontal and profile image was sketched and circulated in the media.
"A community member recognised the deceased on the images and alerted the family. The body was identified by the Pretoria family as 26 year-old Elchenette Rademeyer", he said.
Moloto said the body had visible injuries, but they were waiting for the post-mortem report to reveal the cause of death.
Rademeyer's family had not opened a missing person's case as she did not reside with them at the time of her death.
Saps says a witness alleged she saw two white men and a white woman dump Rademeyer' s body in the river on Saturday, September 12.
Moloto says they are appealing to the public to come forward with any information that can assist with the murder investigation.
