I have lost a brother, says Molopyane’s best friend

Sixteen-year-old Kelebogile Molopyana's best friend Irvine Thamane told mourners on Friday that he not only lost a friend, but a brother.
Molopyane fell from the third-floor balcony of a building at Ferndale High School last week.
Family and friends of the late 16-year-old gathered at the school on Friday to pay their final respects.
Thamane, who has been friends with Molopyane since grade 8, told mourners that they used to cry on each other's shoulder.

The grade 10 pupil fell following an epileptic seizure and died in hospital.
Gauteng Education MEC Panyaza Lesufi attended the memorial to pay his final respects to the young boy.
He told mourners that he is distraught that 14 young learners have lost their lives in Gauteng since the start of the academic year.
