"I'm prepared to go back," says axed Prasa chair
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
Former chairperson of the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa), Popo Molefe says he is more than willing to go back to work, should the High Court in Pretoria decide to reinstate him.
Molefe and members of the now-dissolved board have turned to the court to challenge Transport Minister Dipuo Peters' decision to dismiss them.
Judgement was reserved yesterday.
Molefe's lawyer told the court that due process wasn't followed when the minister decided to dissolve the board, but the minister's lawyer said the board was to blame for Prasa's continued poor performance.
Molefe and the dissolved board want their dismissals set aside and to be immediately reinstated.

"My term ends on 31 July, which is actually four months. I'm prepared to go back as we are professionals. We are not involved in love affairs where we want to know if a person is nice to you or not nice to you," said Molefe.
