Joburg licensing centers to be affected by water shutdown
Updated | By Jacaranda FM News
As some Gauteng residents prepare for a near three-day water shutdown by Rand Water, the Johannesburg Metro Police Department (JMPD) says their services at licensing centers will also be affected.
The traffic fine payment office in the Johannesburg CBD will be closed.
The shutdown will start Monday morning at 5 am and Rand Water said it's to allow them to add a new pipe to the system.
"Only a skeleton staff will be on duty at licensing offices and testing stations up until midday on the days which are affected," said JMPD's Wayne Minaar.
All services are expected to return to normal on Thursday.
