Morris alleges that she was harassed by residents of the northern Johannesburg suburb after she parked on the side of Kelvin road to reply to emails.

"About a kilometre down the road, I realised I hadn't responded to an important email and I pulled off onto Kelvin Drive, found a shady spot and here I was quickly attending to the email.

"A few moments later the resident…called me from behind his gate."

Morris claims two security personnel were also dispatched to the area, closing down the section of the road where she was parked.

When asked to leave, Morris refused, stating that she wasn't violating any laws.

An exchange of words ensued between Morris and one of the residents, the brother of a prominent African National Congress (ANC) politician.

In addition to laying a case of intimidation at the Sandton police station against the two residents, she has also sought legal advise.

"It's unlikely that there will be arrests made. The investigating officer will go out this afternoon (Wednesday) and assess the circumstances and report back to me. I will send them legal letters of demand, to both parties."

"I expect a written letter of apology from both residents at 93 and 94 and then I expect them to do better."

Morris labelled the incident as racial profiling, saying it was the second incident of this nature to happen to her this week.

"I was concerned that this could escalate actually because there's these two guards both of them armed, another one across the road and these other irate residents."
