[LISTEN] Gordhan to EFF: ‘What do they have to hide?’
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan has accused the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) of defending state capture and corruption.

This after the EFF charged the Parliamentary podium on Thursday, where Gordhan was supposed to deliver his department’s budget vote.
The red berets refused to allow him to address MPs, branding him a constitutional delinquent following several findings against him by Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane.

Gordhan urged remaining MP to question why ordinary members of parliament would feel the need to engage in intimidation tactics.
He said if the EFF is guilty of any wrongdoing they should own up to it.
"And the question - you, ourselves and the public must ask is what do they have to hide? What are they guilty of? What is that they don't want to be locked behind for? And intimidation of this kind - and let me say clearly and categorically - is not going to intimidate me and stop us from fighting the good fight.
"To the members of the EFF - in case they are listening - they better a better approach because intimidation and slurring one's integrity and casting aspersions is not going to work if they've stolen money from a bank and anywhere else they should own up to it and face the consequences."
