LISTEN: Kids at Boksburg crèche ‘can’t go outside’ due to tigers next door
Updated | By Eva Chipa
The owner of a daycare centre in Boksburg says she fears for the safety
of the children and staff at the school – due to two white tigers owned by one
of the neighbours.
According to the owner of the creche, who asked for the daycare centre and her name not the be published, the kids are not allowed to go outside anymore.
“As my teachers turned around this big cat was on his jungle-gym looking over the wall, so we took the kids inside closed the doors and everything.”
“My concern is not about the tigers, because you can see that tigers are well fed. My concern is that the wall is so low that the tiger can jump over.”

The name of the owner of the tigers is known to Jacaranda FM, but cannot be published as it would make it easier to identify the crèche.
