LISTEN: Rapulana, Bonang in court over tax fraud
Updated | By Gaopalelwe Phalaetsile
Radio and TV personality Bonang Matheba will appear at the Johannesburg Specialised Commercial Crimes Court on Thursday for an alleged failure to submit her tax returns.
The National Prosecuting Authority's (NPA) spokesperson Phindi Mjonondwane says Matheba will find out her exact charges during her appearance.
In August, Matheba reportedly launched an R10 million lawsuit against Sunday World, saying the reports are fake.

Meanwhile, former Generations actor, Rapulana Seiphemo appeared in the same court on Wednesday.
“He has been charged with five counts of contravening our tax laws, in that he owes SARS R48 000 and that money has accumulated penalties of more than R111000. All in all, he now owes SARS more than R150 000.”
Seiphemo will be back on the court on October 18.
Mjonondwane says if Matheba does not appear in court on Thursday, the NPA will issue a warrant for her arrest.
