Load shedding ramped up a notch to stage 6

Embattled power utility Eskom ramped up load shedding to stage 6 on Sunday.
The utility has initially implemented stage 4 load shedding on Saturday, which later changed to stage 5.
Eskom spokesperson Daphne Mokwena says stage 6 is anticipated to persist throughout the week.
"Since yesterday (Saturday) morning, a generating unit each at Duvha, Lethabo and Medupi power stations have returned to service.
"Over the past 24 hours a generation unit each at Majuba, Medupi and Tutuka power stations were taken out of service due to breakdowns. Furthermore, the delay in returning units to service at Arnot, Camden, Hendrina, Majuba, Matla and Tutuka power stations continue to add to the current capacity constraints."
