African National Congress (ANC) secretary-general and former Freee State Premier, Ace Magashule says his legal team is still busy with preparations to take journalist and author Pieter-Loius Myburgh to court.


This is over allegations of corruption against Magashule contained in the book Gangster State.

He, however, says his legal team says the process will take time and there is no need to rush. 


"The law is something else. I've got quite good senior council and they said a commission is not a court of law, please don't rush," explained Magashule. 


Myburgh has already been slapped with an R10 million lawsuit by Durban businessman for defamation.


His book alleges that Vikash Narsai was involved in an R220m housing project near the Free State town of Vrede, where only 200 houses were built.
