Man to appear in court for deadly Katlehong tavern shooting

Gauteng police arrested one suspect on Friday in connection with the deadly shooting at a tavern in Katlehong, east of Johannesburg.
The shooting at Mputlane's Inn on 8 July claimed the lives of two people and left four others injured.
The suspect is expected to appear before Palm Ridge Magistrate’s Court on Monday where he will face a charge of murder and attempted murder.
Gauteng police spokesperson Dimakatso Sello says the investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
"At this stage, no further information can be revealed as the investigation is still ongoing, but we can confirm that there is one person arrested in connection to the murder case in Katlehong, and the suspect is expected to appear before Palm Ridge Court on 25 July.”
