Man killed in suspected gang violence
A man was killed and two injured during a shoot-out between two rival gangs in Reiger Park, Ekurhuleni on Tuesday, Gauteng police said.
"This afternoon we got the information that there were two rival gangs around Reiger Park and they started shooting each other," spokesperson Kay Makhubela said.
"Two were shot and injured and one shot and killed. The injured were taken to hospital."
Makhubela said police were still trying to find out who the suspects were and urged the community to come forward with any information.
Police are investigating a case of murder and attempted murder.
No arrests have been made yet, he said.
